Iceberg Dead Ahead!

Look out Mousehunters! There is an iceberg heading straight for Gnawnia! I will eventually get this section put into the normal FAQ, but for now, here is what's happening!

Head to the Slushy Shoreline and collect Interlocking Hull Fragments to upgrade the S.S. Huntington. This will give you access to the Iceberg, but please note that this is a joint effort on the part of all available hunters. The S.S. Huntington II will require 1,500,000 hull fragments across the community.

To attract the mice that drop these parts as well as loot needed for new traps (yah!), you need to use Softserve Charms, which are sold in the Charm Shoppe on the Seashore for 650 gold each.
The new trap is a nice hydro trap!

Steam Laser Mk. I ( 4,200 Hydro Power )Power type: Hydro
Power Bonus: 8%
Attraction Bonus: none
Luck: 14
Cheese Effect: No Effect

Loot needed:
5 Wire spool
5 Heating Oils
5 Frosty Metals

There will also be FOUR NEW BASES! WOOT!!

Magnet Base BlueprintsThese blueprints appear to describe the construction steps for a base made from powerful electromagnets, which would be excellent for attracting metal tool-carrying Tunnel Rats.

It requires Wire Spools, chunks of Frosty Metal, pots of Heating Oil, and an intense form of energy to power it.

Remote Detonator Base Blueprints
Whoah, this looks dangerous! The device described in these blueprints looks like it could detonate nearly any explosive remotely, which would certainly help with Bomb Squad Mice.

It requires Wire Spools, chunks of Frosty Metal, pots of Heating Oil, and an intense form of energy to power it.

Spiked Base Blueprints
Icy Brutes pack a surprising punch, but the base depicted on this blueprints looks like it can neutralize their knockback.

It requires Wire Spools, chunks of Frosty Metal, pots of Heating Oil, at least 50 pieces of Splintered Wood, and an intense form of energy to power it.

Hearthstone Base Blueprints
Warmth and comfort emanate from these blueprints, so much that it makes you wonder just how warm and comforting the base you build with it must be! Certainly enough to dissuade the crazed, distress-loving Zealot mice from visiting your trap.

It requires Wire Spools, chunks of Frosty Metal, pots of Heating Oil, and an intense form of energy to power it

Currently the blueprints are not available, but I'll update you as soon as I know something!

Hang on tight mousehunters!

Four new mice released!

Polar Bear

There are FOUR new mice that have popped up today in MouseHunt! All four are weak to hydro traps, and every other trap is listed as "Less Effective," though it should be pointed out that my initial testing has shown that the Sandtail Sentinel lists these mice as "Challenging" (even though it's physical) and the Double Diamond Adventure (a hydro trap) lists these mice as "Difficult." Take that for what its worth.

These four mice are currently in a group that is unlabled, only represented by (???) on the mice page. They are also (so far) known to be attracted to basic cheeses like brie and gouda.

New Mice Locations:
Gnawnia: Meadow, Town of Gnawnia, Windmill, Harbour, Mountain
Valour: King's Arms
Whisker Woods: Calm Clearing, Great Gnarled Tree
Burroughs: Laboratory, Town of Digby, Bazaar
Furoma: Training Grounds
Rodentia: S.S. Huntington II, Crystal Library
Tribal Isles: Cape Clawed
Sandtail Desert: Muridae Market (without Artisan charms)

Snow Bear

Incompetent Ice Climber Mouse (1,150 gold / 3,850 points)
Polar Bear Mouse (900 gold / 4,225 points)
Snow Soldier Mouse (1,200 gold / 3,995 points)
Wolfskie Mouse (1,100 gold / 4,850 points)

There is also a new inventory loot drop coming from these mice, a "War Scrap." You can find it in your "Special" inventory section. It is unknown at this time what this does.

More information coming soon!
